Information Gnod collects
If you subscribe to Gnod’s email list, Gnod collects the email address you submit. If you contact Gnod directly, Gnod may also receive the information contained in your message and any contact information you choose to provide.
How the information is used
Gnod uses subscriber email addresses to send occasional field notes, public questions, project updates, and invitations to participate. Information submitted through direct correspondence is used to respond to the communication and, where appropriate, to continue the requested conversation.
Newsletter service
Gnod currently uses Buttondown to process newsletter subscriptions, confirmations, delivery, and unsubscribing. Buttondown and the website-hosting provider may process technical information required to operate, secure, and deliver their services according to their own privacy policies.
Consent and unsubscribing
Newsletter subscriptions use an email-confirmation process. You may withdraw your consent and unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in each newsletter.
Sharing and sale
Gnod does not sell or rent subscriber email addresses. Information may be processed by service providers only where necessary to operate the website, newsletter, or related communications.
Retention and deletion
Subscriber information is retained while a subscription remains active and as reasonably necessary to maintain consent, unsubscribe, security, and administrative records. You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information associated with your email address.
Current website practices
Gnod has not intentionally added advertising or third-party behavioural advertising systems to this website. If analytics, contribution forms, accounts, or additional participation systems are introduced later, this page will be revised before or alongside their public use.
